Bjarni K. Thorvardarson

Mr. Thorvardarson is the CEO of Hibernia Atlantic, a transatlantic submarine fiber optic cable system linking North America to Europe through Ireland and the United Kingdom. Prior to the business combination forming One Communications, he served on Board of CTC Communications. He also serves as Vice President Corporate Development for Columbia Ventures, an investor in One Communications. Mr. Thorvardarson joined Columbia Ventures in 2002 from ISB bank where he launched and managed the listed Talenta-Technology fund which focused on emerging communication and IT opportunities. Prior thereto he worked in investment banking at FBA bank and held management positions in MIS and European Sales at an IT company. Mr. Thorvardarson holds an M.Sc. degree in Engineering from UW-Madison, an MBA from ISG in Paris and an M.Sc. in Finance from the London Business School. Mr. Thorvardarson also serves on the board of Magnet Networks.
