Thomas J. Casey

Mr. Casey, the former Chief Executive Officer of One Communications, played an instrumental role in bringing together Choice One, CTC and Conversent Communications to form One Communications where he currently serves on the board of directors. He previously served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Choice One Communications. He was named CEO of Choice One in January 2005 and has served as Chairman since November 2004. Prior thereto, Mr. Casey consulted for Choice One beginning in May 2004 and was Chairman of Kepaca, Ltd. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Casey held various positions at Global Crossing Ltd. and its affiliates, including serving as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Previous to that Mr. Casey was a Managing Director and, ultimately, co-head of Merrill Lynch & Co's Global Communications Investment Banking Group based in London. From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Casey was a partner and co-head of the telecommunications and media group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom. Prior thereto, he was partner practicing telecommunications law at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo in Washington, DC. He also served as the Deputy Chief and Acting Chief, Common Carrier Bureau and Assistant to the Chairman and Assistant to the Chief of the Cable Television Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission. Mr. Casey has a BA from Boston College and a law degree from George Washington University Law School.
