John Hanson

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hanson is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, for One Communications and is responsible for all financial planning, reporting and analysis, tax, audit, purchasing, and real estate functions within the company.

Prior to joining One Communications, Mr. Hanson worked for Motorola, a communications infrastructure and mobility solutions provider, from 2003-2008. He held various positions leading Motorola’s in-business finance support function, first as the Vice President Finance Integrated Solutions division, then as the Vice President Enterprise Business unit and finally as the Vice President and Global Services Controller. Previously he served as Chief Financial Officer for Worldport Communications, Inc., a global telecommunications and internet infrastructure solutions provider. While at Worldport, Mr. Hanson managed the finance, treasury, human resources, legal and investor relations functions. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Millennium Rail and prior to that he served as the CFO for Wace USA. Before joining Wace USA, John also led the finance function for local telephone service provider Ameritech Corporation for ten years.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Hanson holds a Masters in Management Degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from DePaul University. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
