The One Communications Carrier Solutions Management Team
Nick Sgroi, Vice President, Carrier Services
Nick Sgroi is Vice President, Carrier Services for One Communications, and is responsible for the overall performance and growth strategy of the One Communications Carrier Business Unit. Mr. Sgroi joined One Communications (previously Choice One Communications) in 1999. He was promoted to General Manager of the Carrier Business Unit in 2004, where he designed and implemented an organizational structure that includes dedicated engineering, marketing and customer service teams.
Under Mr. Sgroi’s supervision, the Carrier Team has seen exponential growth. He has built the Carrier Business Unit by instilling a deeply rooted, company-wide culture of respect, and fosters a strong sense of pride among all his employees. The environment that he has created within the group is extremely positive and continues to yield close to a 100 percent employee retention rate. Mr. Sgroi has also shown an innate ability to drive continuous growth, despite intense challenges faced throughout merger and acquisition integration.
Over the last several years, Mr. Sgroi has worked with One Communications senior leaders to shift the organizational focus toward long-term growth and retention, and developing product lines that result in direct client billings, allowing One Communications to overcome major obstacles presented by FCC rulings and rate declines.
Mr. Sgroi is a graduate of Clarkson University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Management.
Alan Burke, Director of Product Development for Carrier Services
Alan Burke brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role of Director of Product Development for Carrier Services.
Since joining One Communications in 2005, Mr. Burke has been responsible for Product Development, Sales & Development Engineering. He was the architect behind One Communications SIP-Enabled product offering which include SIP Origination, Enhanced Local Termination and 8YY Origination.
Prior to his current role with One Communications Carrier team, Mr. Burke spent 18 years with Global Crossing in a number of positions within that organization, including Carrier Services, Product Management and Product Development. He holds a Bachelor of Science from State University of New York at Geneseo.
Lorenzo Leuzzi, Director of Carrier Sales
As Director of Carrier Sales, Lorenzo Leuzzi leads a team of talented sales executives that are extremely successful in developing relationships with top tier telecommunications providers. He joined One Communications in 2003 bringing with him several years of telecommunications sales experience from Global Crossing.
Mr. Leuzzi brings to this position an intimate knowledge of the wholesale and carrier business, tons of energy, business acumen, and integrity. During his previous role as a Carrier Sales Executive, he was instrumental in driving revenue growth and was recognized for 5 consecutive years as a member of the President’s Club, an award reserved for top performing sales executives.
Mr. Leuzzi holds a Bachelor of Science degree, having graduated cum laude from the State University at Geneseo.
Jeanne Dale, Director of Carrier Marketing
Jeanne Dale has been with One Communications since 2003 and serves as Director of Carrier Marketing. In this role, Ms. Dale is responsible for Product Management, Product Pricing & Contracts, Revenue Assurance and Reporting, and all Marketing functions.
Before joining the One Communications team Ms. Dale spent nine years with Global Crossing where she gained a broad spectrum of experience within telecommunications. She worked in several functional areas, including Product Management, IT, Operations and Finance.
Ms. Dale earned a Bachelor of Science from State University of New York at Geneseo and achieved her MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
